The HK884400XGS Maxi Sense Induction Hob. Yet another AEG accessory that is perfect in form and function.

This remarkable induction hob with its unique sleek. shiny T.F.T colour display and maxi sense controls, certainly lives up to its name. Good cooking is all about control and with just a silky smooth touch of a fingertip you can select the precise heat setting from low to high in seconds.

Another great feature is the Power Induction Boost function that can heat a pan of water at such an unbelievable pace that I recommend you keep an eye on the water level as it bubbles up in the pan or you might end up feeling something like poor old Mickey Mouse trying to stem the rising tide with his broom in the famous Walt Disney sequence of the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

The four heat zones are well spaced for small or large pans. For extra large pans, like a roasting tin, you may successfully maximise the cooking area by bridging the vessel over two of the crosses, allowing you to comfortably control the two zones as one. AEG has not forgotten the slightly more absent- minded cook either. There is an Automatic Switch Off and if the cooking zone is left on by accident, the power will automatically cut out after a set period of time.

The AEG Fusion Wok

Complementing the AEG Maxi Sense Induction Hob range is the beautifully sleek anodised metal Fusion Wok which has been designed and optimised for use with induction work tops.

It comes in a set with a special heavy chrome metal ring support in which the wok is cradled to ensure that the hob surface remains undamaged as you shake, swivel, rock and toss your stir-fry, Ken Hom-style.
