INSPIRO OVEN BY ELECTROLUX
For food writer and creative food stylist Carol Pastor working and
entertaining at home and the new Electrolux Inspiro oven are a
winning combination.
I'd been looking for a good oven for some time and after some
considerable research I was recommended the Inspiro oven by Good
Housekeeping magazine who said it gave perfect results.
When it arrived I was delighted with its stunning design and
cutting edge technology.
At the touch of a button the oven offers many cooking modes that are
very appealing. When I'm entertaining and looking after my guests
it is quite liberating to cook the food using the Auto Cooking mode
(depending on which type of food you want to cook-roast or casserole
for example, using heat management technology the oven will assess the
weight of the food and decide the best cooking mode, the best temperature
and length of time for you). This has given me perfect results on every occasion
Alternatively, when I'm testing out recipes for food features and
cookery books, I like to use it conventionally, setting the oven
manually to the instructions for the recipe, when the Inspiro's built
in timer is a great perk. Another bonus is that the oven is lit
internally when in use, and the large glass oven door offers a
clear view of the food you are cooking. When I'm baking it's fun to
peep through the door and see chemistry in action as the baking
powder (raising agent) starts to take effect. When mixed into the
cake batter and heated, the baking powder releases carbon dioxide
gas that makes the cake gently rise right in front of your eyes. Call me
a cooking geek if you will but this is a bit of sheer
culinary magic in motion to a cook who loves baking.
